<figure></figure><p>Born in Price, Utah Cheryl grew up with a mother who was an artist who instilled the beauty of visual and performing arts in her children from a very young age. Her career was in Human Resources where she worked with different personalities, cultures, thinking, religions, philosophies, and understanding of viewing life through many perspectives. Cheryl earned a master’s in human resources from Utah State University and studied abroad in multiculturalism as part of the master’s program. Throughout her career she taught classes in management and art. Cheryl retired in 2016 and rediscovered her passion for art. Cheryl dabbled in many mediums and found that watercolor was her favourite medium.<br><br>She began showing art professionally in 2013 which took her art to a whole new level. She illustrated the children’s book “Mooseberry, Mooseberry, Gooseberry Pie,” and wrote and illustrated the children’s book “What Hides Inside”. Her art is currently on exhibit at Gallery 35, Arrowhead Gallery, Mesquite Fine Arts and in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her art is in homes in seven different countries and over 40 states. She has won several awards for her art. She is also teaching art in her studio. Cheryl is a member of the Dixie Watercolor Society (DWS), Southern Utah Art Guild (SUAG), Z-Arts, Utah Watercolor Society (UWS), Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society, Women Out West (WOW), National Watercolor Society (NWS), the Virgin Valley Art Association (VVAA) and Arts to Zions.<br></p>
