Terrece Beesley grew up on an Idaho potato farm, the youngest child, with four older brothers trying to keep her in line. Their parents taught them to work hard, and to love outdoor activities, especially skiing and swimming. The Beesley farm and surrounding area still hold her heart.
Her education includes a BFA from Utah State University in painting and textile design and furthers studies with Harold Petersen, John Salminen, Lian Quan Zhen, Barbara Necchis, Alvaro Castanet, and Frank Webb.
Since 2000, Terrece has concentrated on watercolor paintings while working with the Utah Division of Arts and Museums Artist in Residence program. She has been actively teaching at elementary schools around Utah, at Weber State University, and at the Eccles Community Art Center in Ogden Utah. Until recently retiring, Terrece taught computer graphics at The Ogden Weber Advanced Technology College.
Among her many awards and honors, her most coveted are the Award of Merit she received from the Spring Salon at the Springville Museum of Art, and her Signature Membership in the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies
